Recognize that name? you should! Nina Randone is the graphic designer who made my fabulous Logo and my business cards and helped me with the background and feel of my website! She has been absolutely wonderful over these past couple months with helping me transform my business! I also would like to think her & her family have become friends of mine! They are wonderful people and we had so much fun :P ENJOY!

We can’t forget Grandma & Grandpa were there! They were in town visiting :) what a perfect opportunity to get some photos with the grandkids!!

It was about 9 months ago when I first met the Harper girls! They melted my heart instantly. Rachel the littlest is in my preschool class and she truly brings joy to my job everyday! I think about them moving on to a new class next year and I get sad! Thank goodness I teach art so I can see them again next year! Any who, I’ll stop babbling about me! When Anne asked me to squeeze her in this month I said ABSOLUTELY! She is going to get a print for her husband for fathers day! Having three little girls their daddy is ate up I’m sure! So it will be the perfect gift!

A couple months ago I randomly met Brandy! I thought she was the sweetest person. The way she talked about her husband(who was deployed at the time) and her children, I could just tell she loved her life and everyone in it! It was long after we met that I had the opprotunity to photograph her husbands homecoming! Brandy wanted this day captured for so many reasons but mostly because it was the day he would meet his son :) You can’t make memories better than that people!

Every time someone asks me if its hard being a military wife or if I hate it when he is gone, I just think about that feeling I get when he gets home! I’m so lucky that Troy and I haven’t had to face any big deployments yet but this summer we will. Troy is leaving beginning of July. I get asked all the time if I’m scared or sad. We’ll I’m not! I’m so proud that Troy is able to do what he loves and I will gladly wait for him while he does. I can’t wait for the feeling you get on homecoming day and to make our own special memories.

Any who! back to Brandy! I instantly felt connected to Brandy after meeting her! and soon after that her daughter  became a student at the Preschool I teach at. I absolutely adore this beautiful little girl! So of course I was soooo pleased and excited when they used me a second time to shoot their family photos! Be prepared to go gah gah over a gorgeous family :)

Without further a do ….

I threw in some of their homecoming a couple months back :) in case you missed it!

You may remember the Tiffin’s from there session this time last year! It’s hard for me to believe how much there two boys have grown! Trent was only a month old last time I took there pictures! I think that is truly the fun part of my job! Really getting to know families and forming a relationship with them! Any who, James is off to another deployment so please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as well as all of the other men and women serving our country! As you all know I couldn’t be more proud to stand beside my Marine! Best of luck to you James and God bless you!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Better late than never right ? :) I just realized that I never posted this beautiful family’s session! Can’t believe it!

anywho … here it is :)

This past friday I had the amazing pleasure of photographing the Nason Family homecoming! When I first met Mary at her husbands squadron I knew that this was going to be a perfect day! She was so warm and seemed so in love and happy! Those are my favorite people to photograph, I love it when you can feel the love between a family! This was going to be her husbands first time meeting his son. He was now six months old! I can’t imagine how Mary does it! She looked beautiful and handled herself perfectly. She made being a mother and living this life look easy.

Anyways….

Congrats on having your husband home! I hope you don’t let him out of your sight for atleast a week :)

Congrats again on having your family reunited! It was an amazing day to be a part of!

sorry for the image overload! ha! I just fell in love with all of them! Enjoy!

This past week I had the pleasure of photographing very good friends of mine. Liz and Jose have become wonderful of Troy and I’s. We feel so blessed to have them in our lives! Anywho, Jose leaves for a 7 month deployment in January! and soon after that Troy is leaving! Liz is going to be staying with me through those rough months and I am so thankful! I don’t know that I could handel this deployement without her.

I had been promising Liz family photos since her birthday in March! We figured it was about time! Enjoy!
