As most of my followers know, I am a military wife. I know, I know I don’t talk about my amazing hubby at all do I! ha ha Anyways, My husband and I are coming up on our 2 year wedding anniversary! It seriously blows my mind thinking about everything we have been through and seen and done over the past two years. We have grown so much as a couple and as individuals as well. blah blah blah I could ramble on about how wonderful he is all day long.

My husband is a Marine and that led us to be stationed at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station back in January. I am so thankful that we are here and that I have made some wonderful friends. One in particular I had to find a special way to thank. Christina had mentioned wanting some updating photos of her for her husband,  a special gift for her to give to him. So this would be my gift to her, although I don’t anything could repay her for what she has given me. She has given me a friend that I can always count on and who is there no matter what. Christina and I have only known each other for a few months but it certainly feels like she has been a friend forever. It’s hard when you move a lot and you are in a completely new environment to find friends who you can trust and who you feel completely comfortable with. So all I can say is Thank you Christina, for making me feel like we have been friends for 20 years. I hope we will be for 50 more!

I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! I love them all!

A couple weeks ago I met Jenn & Matt down at Fort Macon for a session. They were updating their pictures before Matt was off to another deployement. If I remember correctly this will be his third tour of duty. I look up to Jenn in so many ways! She is so indepedent and strong, I can only hope that when Troy leaves next year I will handle it with as much grace as she has. So here are some of my favs from our evening. Thank you Jenn for teaching me a thing or two about surviving a deployement along the way
